They were hugging - that's all there is to it. There are those who will caution against assigning to animals traits that are knowingly human. I don't worry about that. All I know is, this group of wild horses left the larger group, ran together in the cool evening, and presented to us the occasional hug. The setting sun left a beautiful orange hue in the sky, and the horses seemed to appreciate it. They ran together as one, enjoying the peace and serenity of the moment. My wife and I enjoyed it as well and realized few humans get to witness this. I'm so happy we were there to capture it for you to enjoy forever!
